Outline |

10-Gbps optical transceivers such as the XFP have been increasingly used for higher-volume transmissions in long-distance trunk lines and metropolitan networks. The FU-610REA is a receptacle laser diode module that can transmit high quality 10 Gbps optical signals using little power.

Features |
XMD-MSA (Type 2) compliant and easily mountable
Housed in a more compact package with a smaller peltier cooler, the FU-610REA features a smaller size and enhanced electrical and mechanical interface that comply with XMD-MSA specifications. Its cubic measurement is less than 1/10 of our existing EA-LD module (FU-653SEA). Its receptacle connector makes plugging and unplugging an optical fiber cable easy. |
Maintains high digital signal quality with low power consumption
Through our original packaging technology, we successfully reduced high frequency loss while shutting off the heat flux from outside the module, to achieve outstanding high frequency characteristics. At 0.5 W it boasts the lowest power consumption in the world for an EA-LD module capable of 10 Gbps 80 km transmissions. |
