As performance of power conversion systems such as inverters, AC servo systems and power supplies have risen in recent years, so has demand for low loss, low noise power devices. Against this backdrop, manufacturers are working to develop products that are best suited for a variety of applications. A power device that can be used for high frequency medial equipment as well as a welding machine is one such products. We have commercialized the NFM Series IGBT modules fitted with optimal functions for these applications.
With the optimal speed control of the fifth generation IGBT (CSTBT) and the employment of an ultra high speed FWD, the NFM Series incorporates a low loss design. It assures the world's highest level of performance in resonant inverters (with a switching frequency of approximately 50 kHz).
Parasitic inductance has been significantly reduced to a third of that in our other existing models as a result of the optimized internal electrode structure while maintaining a module whose dimensions are compatible with the products most widely used in the target market.
A lead-free solder is used to make the product RoHS compliant.
