Overview |
In recent years, Internet traffic has rapidly increased, which has accelerated the need for communication networks with larger transmission capacities. Operation up to 43 Gbps*1 and error correction code are required in order for optical transmission/reception devices to be used within the optical transmission interface of a trunk line network or between routers. For the first time in the world*2, we provide, as a set, a transmission device for optical transmission compliant with industry-standard XLMD-MSA and an interconnected reception device. In this way, we are helping to popularize 43Gbps optical communication devices.

FU-697SPP Original bias circuit realizes high extinction ratio to contribute to stable communications
Our company's original bias circuit, which supplies the DC bias voltage to the modulator independently from the outside, is installed within the device to reduce the driver IC's load and raise the extinction ratio. |

Future Development |
As we supply the XLMD-MSA-compliant transmission and reception devices as a set, these key devices will further expand the market by realizing greater compactness and lower electric power consumption in optical transmitters/receivers. In the future, we will continue to enhance our product line-up by flexibly responding to needs such as increasing the transmission distance and varying in the types of modulation. |
